Can easyAML enrol with AUSTRAC on the customer's behalf?

No, AUSTRAC enrolment must be completed by the reporting entity itself as a formal regulatory declaration; easyAML can walk the customer through the form question by question.

AUSTRAC enrolment is an act of the reporting entity itself and must be completed directly by the customer, not by a third party. AUSTRAC's framework treats enrolment as a formal regulatory declaration that the entity (and its accountable persons) understands its obligations.

What easyAML can do to help:

  • Walk you through the form question-by-question in an onboarding session - what each question means, how to answer it for your sector, what to do if a question doesn't quite fit.
  • Provide the AML Obligations brochure, which lists exactly the information AUSTRAC will ask for (ABN, designated services, responsible persons, etc.).
  • Hand-hold the sector fit - confirming which Table 5 / Table 6 items apply to your business so you answer the branching logic correctly.
  • Receive and store the AAN once issued - paste it into Account Settings and the platform takes care of carrying it through to every submission.

What easyAML cannot do:

  • Submit the enrolment form on your behalf.
  • Sign anything as the responsible person.

The enrolment window opened 31 March 2026. For Tranche 2 entities, the deadline to notify AUSTRAC of the Compliance Officer is 29 July 2026. Start at AUSTRAC Online. See AUSTRAC's Enrol and register with AUSTRAC.
