Can the AML Program be exported as a PDF?

Yes, once the Risk Assessment is signed off and the Program is generated, download a PDF via Compliance > AML/CTF Program.

When the Risk Assessment is signed off and the Program is generated, a PDF version is available via Compliance → AML/CTF Program → Download PDF.

Each PDF opens with a cover page recording the entity's legal name and ABN, and the version number and date - making every export a self-contained, point-in-time record suitable for audit, board review, or production to AUSTRAC on request.

The body covers all sections required by the AML/CTF Act and Rules, organised into four parts:

Governance and structure

  • Definitions and interpretation
  • AML/CTF Program overview
  • Compliance Officer role and responsibilities
  • Approval and oversight by the Governing Body and Senior Managers
  • Outsourcing and reliance arrangements

Risk framework

  • ML/TF Risk Assessment
  • Risk management process
  • Risk categories assessed
  • ML/TF red flags

Customer Due Diligence

  • CDD and EDD methodologies
  • Data collection and verification by customer type (individual, company, trust, partnership)
  • Beneficial owners
  • Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs)
  • Enhanced Due Diligence data collection and verification

Operations, reporting and records

  • Personnel due diligence and staff training
  • Transaction monitoring
  • Reporting obligations (SMRs, TTRs, IFTI/IVTS, annual compliance report)
  • Keep Open Notices and information-gathering responses
  • Compliance reviews and breaches
  • Record-keeping

The PDF is regenerated each time the Program is updated (new Risk Assessment, changed sector inputs, regulatory updates published by AUSTRAC). Earlier versions remain available in the audit history so the chain of changes is preserved. See AUSTRAC's AML/CTF Program reform materials.
