Does the firm pay easyAML for time spent supporting a client through their KYC?
No, customer support time (whether helping firm staff, troubleshooting transactions, or walking end clients through VOI) is included in the subscription.
This applies regardless of tier and regardless of how much support a particular firm uses.
The only services that are charged on top of the subscription:
- KYC and KYB transactions at the standard per-check rates.
- AML On Demand outsourcing (~$50/transaction + KYC/KYB costs) where easyAML's team performs the CDD work on the firm's behalf - this is an opt-in paid service, not standard support.
- Bespoke development or integration work outside the standard API and integration catalogue - quoted case-by-case.
The principle is that operational support is a part of the service that is included in the monthly subscription - the platform's value is in helping firms comply efficiently, and metering support hours would create the wrong incentives.
