easyAML Updates

easyAML - Version 1.0.72 Release Notes

New features

  • AI trust deed reading ("Amelie"). Upload a trust deed — or ask the trustee to send it — and Amelie reads it and fills in the trust's details (name, type, people). A person always reviews and approves before anything changes.
  • Decision capture. When a compliance user excludes a party, dismisses a suspected trust, overrides registry data and similar calls, they record a reason. Every decision is saved and visible on the entity — one click to answer "why wasn't this person verified?" in an audit. Excluded parties stay visible as a collapsed row.
  • Notification controls. Users choose whose entities they get notified about (their own, their group's, or all), and can follow or mute a single client.
  • Summary emails. Instead of one email per event, users can choose one hourly or daily summary per channel.
  • Clearer buttons on party lists. Actions that can't be used show as disabled with the reason, instead of hidden or silently failing.

Improvements

  • Documents tab on every entity, with named slots for key documents (company extract, trust deed…).
  • Mixed trustees: trusts can have individual and corporate trustees together (SMSFs still restricted).
  • Reliance search is opt-in — both firms must turn on participation in Settings — and firms can now send questionnaires and SoF/SoW requests to individuals they received via reliance, free of charge.
  • Frozen sign-off records: viewing a past, signed-off version now shows it exactly as it was — later changes no longer bleed in.
  • Police-check guard: checks now hold with a clear message if the account is missing its city/state, instead of lodging incomplete. City is editable in Settings.
  • Split billing: shares can be usage-weighted, and on cancellation each participant gets their own final invoice.
  • PDF export on every entity type, a status column on SMSF/partnership/sole-trader party lists, and "UBOs" renamed to "Parties" with a consistent layout everywhere.
  • Clearer statuses: "Requested", "Not Started", "Partially Verified", "Excluded from Verification", "Complete" — same statuses, clearer words. The Usage table and CSV now show client names instead of internal IDs.

Fixes

  • "Assessed By" on the Summary Report now names the officer who made the identity decision, not whoever downloaded the PDF ("-" if the match was fully automatic).
  • Abandoned ID verifications no longer block transaction sign-off.
  • Never-screened individuals now correctly show "Pending" instead of "Clear".
  • Password-protected PDFs are rejected at upload with a warning, not later at signing time.
  • Source-of-wealth/funds document links in questionnaires could show broken for some individuals — fixed.
  • Duplicate invoices: a rare timing bug that could double-invoice an account is fixed at the root.
  • Overage estimates: child accounts in a group now see their own estimate, not the whole group's. Manually granted credits now appear in the balance immediately.
  • Invoice line renamed: "Transaction credits applied" → "Subscription credits applied" (same discount, clearer name).
  • Training report: exported percentages now match the dashboard, and staff search works.
  • Notification security: notifications are no longer sent for entities a user can't access (deliberate tightening — some users will stop receiving some notifications).
  • Editing after amendment: indirect entities (e.g. directors) can be edited after amending a signed-off transaction, and an indirect entity can be marked as a direct customer.
  • Cosmetics: broken photos on screening matches are hidden, dark mode display issues fixed, softer PEP wording ("may be required" instead of "is required").
