How to Connect XPM with easyAML

How to connect Xero Practice Manager (XPM) to easyAML and import Jobs as transactions. Install and authorise the XPM app from the easyAML Marketplace, then use the Import menu items that appear once connected.

App Installation and Authorisation

1. Select Apps in the sidebar.
2. Click Marketplace
3. Click the search bar.
4. Select Xero Practice Manager from the marketplace.
5. Click Install for Xero Practice Manager, then Authorise. A Xero login popup will show.
6. Click Allow access

Transaction Import

Tip: XPM Jobs are imported on demand by searching for them and picking the one to import. Jobs won't be imported in bulk.

7. Click Transactions
8. Click Import Transactions
9. Click the Search box and search for an XPM Job by Job Number or Job Name
10. Select the search result you want to import
11. Click Import transaction

Transaction and Entity Review

12. Select the entity from the individuals list to view the imported Client.
13. A link is created back to the contact in XPM, click to open it.
14. Go back to the Transactions List.
15. Click on the transaction we imported to view it again
16. Click here
17. Click here to open XPM to the connected Job
