Laptops and desktops cannot be used. easyAML's identity verification (powered by Scantek) is designed to work across a wide range of mobile devices. For the best experience, use a recent version of your operating system and browser - check your phone settings for outstanding updates. ### Officially supported - **iPhone or iPad** - iOS 17 or later, using a Safari-based browser - **Android** - any browser based on Chrome 118 or later (e.g. Chrome, Samsung Internet, Brave, Edge) ### What if my device is older, or I use a different browser? Some older devices and browsers may let you start the process but perform poorly - for example failing to capture, or not moving forward or backward between steps. If this happens, either update your operating system or browser and try again, or forward the SMS or email containing the link to another trusted, compatible device (e.g. a family member's or friend's phone) and continue there. ### Can I use a laptop or desktop with a camera? No. Laptop and desktop cameras cannot capture the image quality needed to verify your documents, and the capture process is intentionally designed to prevent their use.
