# Is the easyAML subscription tax deductible?

## Generally yes, treated as a business compliance expense like other professional software or regulatory compliance.

The easyAML subscription is a business compliance expense. KYC and KYB transaction fees are also typically deductible, either against the firm's general operating costs or (where passed to clients as a disbursement) recouped through client billing.

Standard caveat: tax treatment depends on the customer's business structure, ABN status, sector and accounting position. Customers should confirm with their tax adviser before relying on a specific treatment - particularly around the GST input tax credit position and the apportionment of expenses across multiple entities under a Reporting Group.
