Where do firms enter their AUSTRAC Account Number(AAN)?

In the easyAML Account Settings, under Business & Regulatory Information, AUSTRAC Enrolment.

The AUSTRAC Account Number (AAN) is entered in easyAML under Account Settings → Business & Regulatory Information → AUSTRAC Enrolment. Steps:

  1. Sign in as the Compliance Officer or Senior Management.
  2. Go to Account Settings (gear icon, top right).
  3. Open Business & Regulatory Information.
  4. In the AUSTRAC Enrolment section, set the "Enrolled with AUSTRAC" toggle to Yes.
  5. Enter the AAN (the unique identifier AUSTRAC issued at enrolment).
  6. Save.

You can update the field any time - for example, if your firm enrols during the rollout phase and the AAN arrives later. The Annual Compliance Report and SMR/TTR templates automatically pull the AAN once it's set, so all reports go out with the correct identifier.

If you don't yet have an AAN, enrol with AUSTRAC first via AUSTRAC Online. The enrolment window opened 31 March 2026; for newly regulated Tranche 2 entities the deadline to notify AUSTRAC of your Compliance Officer is 29 July 2026.

See AUSTRAC's Enrol and register with AUSTRAC.
