Why is my task blocked?

A walkthrough for addressing identity verification issues that block tasks in easyAML - including flagging name discrepancies and finalising transaction sign-offs. Some tasks have a parent task and subtasks: the parent cannot be completed until all its subtasks are done.

Task Identification

1. Click Tasks in the left hand sidebar menu.
2. Head to the task with the status Waiting or Depending on another task
3. Some tasks are made up of a parent task and one or more subtasks. The parent task can't be completed until all its subtasks are done - this keeps you fully compliant and makes sure no essential steps get skipped. Here, you can see a subtask is still pending. Just click on any outstanding subtask to continue. If the KYC verification task shows as Waiting or Depending on another task, that's usually just because your client hasn't finished their VOI scans yet
4. Click Open Source Page to go directly to the task that needs to be completed.

Identity Verification

1. In this example, this subtask requests a KYC match, which can be done here.

Transaction Approval

1. Once all subtask are completed. Click onto transaction, then list transaction. Navigate to the transaction that was blocked, status should now be pending.
2. You can also refer to the task status in the top right. In this example, it shows Ready - yours might show that you still have outstanding tasks, which will guide you to complete them. Once that Ready tick is displayed, you're able to sign off and complete the task!
