Can training begin before the multi-entity configuration setup is complete?

Yes, the CO and other staff of the lead entity can start training immediately while backend configuration progresses.

Training can begin immediately for the CO and staff of the lead entity while backend configuration is still in progress. This is the deliberately-parallelised path that lets a customer start their compliance work without waiting for the platform team to finish entity setup.

What can start before backend configuration completes:

  • AUSTRAC enrolment - which is handled outside the platform and doesn't depend on platform config.
  • CO training modules - the CO can complete their full training catalogue (~2-4 hours) while the platform team configures the entity structure.
  • General platform familiarisation - exploring the dashboard, reviewing how-to guides, watching webinars.
  • Staff role planning - decisions about who gets what role can be made and documented before users are actually invited.

What needs after the backend configuration is complete:

  • Risk Assessment - because the RA wizard relies on knowing the entity structure (single entity vs. Reporting Group vs. multi-trading-name).
  • User invitations across the group - so that users land in the correct entity context.
  • Cross-entity visibility for the CO via the entity switcher.

Notification is sent when backend configuration is complete - the customer success team confirms via email and the CO can then proceed with the RA, Program generation, and user invitation steps. The typical 1-2 day backend turnaround means the CO's training is usually the critical path, not the platform configuration.

This parallel approach means a multi-entity customer can easily be operational within a week of signing, rather than waiting sequentially through each setup step.
