Can a transaction, individual or entity be deleted or archived within easyAML?

Yes - available for CO and 2IC CO roles. This ensures auditability, and AML compliance, and ensures nothing is lost.

  • Archiving is only available to CO and 2IC CO roles. This ensures audibility, AML compliance, and that a deliberate decision has been made.
  • Records are archived rather than deleted, so you retain a full audit trail at all times. Archived records are hidden from normal lists but never deleted.
  • Completed transactions cannot be archived, as they are required for compliance records.
  • Individuals and entities linked to a transaction must be removed from all transactions before they can be archived.

    Archiving a Transaction

A transaction can only be archived if it is not completed and has no individuals or entities associated with it.

    1. If the transaction is completed (e.g. it was created for testing or practice), select Amend Completed Transaction and follow the steps in the transaction record.
    2. Select Remove on each Individual and Legal Entity in the transaction. (This removes them from the transaction only - it does not archive them.)
    3. Select the Archive button.

    Archiving an Individual

    1. Open the Individual’s record.
    2. Select the Archive button in the top right of the record.

Individuals linked to a transaction must first be removed from all transactions.

    Archiving an Entity

    1. Open the Entity’s record.
    2. Select the Archive button in the top right of the record.

Entities linked to a transaction must first be removed from all transactions.

    Restoring archived records

    1. Go to Transactions > Archived (open directly) or Entities > Archived (open directly), depending on the record type.
    2. Select Unarchive on the record and follow the steps.
