How to Re-link a UBO to an existing Individual in easyAML
Re-link Ultimate Beneficial Owners in easyAML to keep legal entity records accurate and avoid duplicates.
When a KYB unwrap lists a UBO or officeholder who already exists as a verified individual in your account, use Re-link to connect them - so the same person is not verified (or charged) twice.

Step-by-step guide
- Open the legal entity's record from Entities > Legal Entities.
- Go to the entity's UBOs tab and find the person showing as unverified.
- Select Re-link next to their name.
- Search for and select their existing individual record, then confirm.
Once re-linked, the UBO row reflects the existing individual's verification status - no new verification link is sent and no additional KYC charge applies.
The other UBO buttons
- Verify - starts a KYC and sends the person a verification link.
- Exclude / Resume - removes (or re-adds) the verification requirement for that UBO, recording your reason.
- Edit - corrects the UBO's details before verification is sent.
- Remove - deletes a manually added UBO row. ASIC-derived UBOs cannot be removed - use Exclude instead.
