Beyond the easyAML training modules, what other staff training and preparation do we need?

Calendar coordination, a team briefing or Q&A separately from training, and informal scripts for client conversations.

Training inside easyAML covers the law and the platform processes. There's additional work outside the platform to make sure your team is operationally ready:

  • Calendar coordination for getting your whole team through training before the deadline. For larger teams this needs to be planned weeks in advance, around existing workloads, client commitments, and leave.
  • A team briefing or Q&A session separately from training. Training modules cover the law and the processes; a live Q&A surfaces the practical concerns and edge cases that will actually arise in your practice.
  • Updated new starter induction process - every person who joins after 1 July 2026 needs AML training before they can act on a matter. If your induction process isn't updated, this will be missed for new hires.
  • Training completion records - AUSTRAC expects you to be able to demonstrate that all staff have been trained. Ensure records are accurate, current, and accessible, not sitting in someone's email inbox.
