Can a customer who started in the free version have data merged into the paid account?

Yes, simply upgrade through the portal and all information carries across; the underlying account is the same, just with paid features unlocked.

Yes - simply upgrade the plan through the portal and all your information will come across. The freemium-to-paid transition is seamless because there's no actual "merge" - the underlying account is the same, just with paid features unlocked.

What carries over:

  • Risk Assessment - including answers, the auto-generated Program, and any version history.
  • Training progress - completed modules and assessment results.
  • Trial transactions - preserved as historical records (counted toward the user's familiarity, not as billable transactions).
  • User roster - everyone invited in freemium becomes a paid-account user.
  • Custom configuration - any platform settings, custom questionnaire fields, etc.

The upgrade is initiated via Account Settings → Billing and Subscription within the platform; the user selects the tier, agrees to terms, and the paid features unlock immediately.

For customers who started multiple parallel freemium accounts (different staff members), the merge is a separate request to support - see "If multiple staff registered independently, how are the duplicate platforms merged?" in Section 17 for that path.
