Can a user create or assign tasks to other users in easyAML?

Transactions or tasks allocated to one user can be reassigned to another with appropriate permissions.

Only reassignment is supported - a transaction or tasks that's been allocated to one user can be reassigned to another user with appropriate permissions. Task creation and assignment isn't currently supported as a free-form workflow.

For broader task-management needs (e.g. "review these 10 transactions by Friday", "follow up on this customer by Tuesday"), customers typically use:

  • Their existing PMS / CRM - ActionStep, CLIO, XPM, etc. all have task management built in. The CDD workflow happens in easyAML; the task management sits in the PMS.
  • Dedicated task tools - Asana, Trello, Microsoft Planner for firms wanting lightweight task tracking independent of their PMS.
  • The transaction dashboard in easyAML - which shows transaction status and lets the CO see what's stuck or waiting.

Reassignment covers the genuinely-easyAML-specific need (this transaction needs to move from User A to User B); the broader task-management space is appropriately served by other tools.

Task creation within easyAML is a feature that is being considered for future roadmap development.
