What are typical next steps after an onboarding session?
Enrol with AUSTRAC, invite remaining users, have the team complete training, complete the Risk Assessment.
Standard task list issued at the end of every onboarding call:
- Add the AUSTRAC Account Number to the platform once received from AUSTRAC. Tells the platform the customer is officially enrolled.
- Invite remaining users - bring the rest of the team onto the platform with their correct roles.
- Have the team complete training - mandatory before any user can perform CDD.
- Complete the ML/TF Risk Assessment - ~30 minutes; auto-generates the AML Program.
- Review the AML Program - download as PDF for the firm's records; CO approves the program before staff start performing designated services.
- Run a test KYC/KYB - end-to-end practice transaction so the workflow is familiar.
- Review how-to guides in the Knowledge Base - covers the day-to-day operational questions.
Each task is tracked on the customer's onboarding dashboard so the CO can see progress at a glance. Customer success follows up if any task is stuck.
