What do the transaction fields mean?

What each transaction field means, with examples of what to enter.

  • Proceeds Destination - where the money goes once the transaction completes, e.g. "Sale proceeds to vendor's nominated Australian account with [bank]".
  • Intended Use - what the transaction/funds are for, e.g. "Purchase of residential property as primary residence."
  • Lead Entity - the party the transaction is conducted for; every transaction needs one. If sign-off shows "No lead entity selected", open Edit details and set it. (Different from the Reporting Group "Lead Entity": multi-office structures.)
  • Custom reference and end/completed dates - both editable via Edit details on the transaction.
  • Indirect Customer - a party in the transaction who isn't your customer receiving the designated service, e.g. a shareholder company or director.
  • Reset Matched Identity - clears the current document-to-person match (and reason) on the Identity tab so matching can be redone.
  • Parent task - its child tasks must be completed before it unblocks: Why is my task blocked?
  • Reliance (greyed out) - activates once a reliance agreement is in place; see the Reliance & KYC Sharing articles.
