How is staff training transferred between two related entities for the same person?
Same email at both entities means training travels; for mass-management, Compliance Officers can grant training exemptions across platforms from the training dashboard.
Same email/credentials at both entities - training travels. If the user logs in to both entities using the same email address, the training record is recognised across both contexts and the user doesn't need to re-complete the same modules.
For mass-management, Compliance Officers can grant training exemptions across platforms: Training Dashboard → View → Grant Exemption. This is useful when:
- The user has completed equivalent training externally (e.g. through a professional body, previous employer) and the CO is satisfied the training meets the standard.
- The user has completed easyAML training at a different entity but the system hasn't recognised the email match (e.g. they used different email addresses at the two entities).
- The user is a senior person whose training history is well-documented through other means.
The exemption is audit-logged - the CO's decision and reasoning are preserved in the user's training record. The CO carries the accountability for the exemption decision.
For straightforward "same person, two entities, both on easyAML" cases, just use the same email address and the automatic carry-over handles it. The exemption mechanism is for the edge cases.
