Can training completed at one entity carry over to another easyAML subscribed firm?
Yes, provided the user logs in with the same email at both entities, training completion travels with the user.
When the user logs in with the same email at both entities, training completion travels with the user. The training record is tied to the user account, not the entity, so a staff member who completed AUSTRAC-recognised AML training at Firm A and moves to Firm B doesn't need to re-do the entire training catalogue at Firm B.
What carries over:
- Module completions including assessment results and completion dates.
- Certificates earned at the prior entity.
- Annual refresher progress - if the user is mid-cycle when they move, the refresher continues at the new entity.
What doesn't carry over automatically:
- Sector-specific modules that weren't required at Firm A but are required at Firm B - these get auto-allocated based on the new entity's designated services.
- Role-specific modules where Firm B's role assignment requires deeper modules than Firm A's - the additional modules are allocated.
Users joining a new firm should mention their existing easyAML training history during onboarding; the new firm's CO can see the existing completions and avoids re-allocating modules unnecessarily.
