When entering a transaction for an entity, why does the legal name shown differ from the trading name?
easyAML pulls the legal name associated with the ABN, which can differ from trading names on signage; update Business Profile to set the trading name for customer-facing display.
easyAML pulls the legal name associated with the ABN. The legal name may differ from the trading name(s) on signage. Where the legal name has changed (partnership restructure, trust setup), update in Account Settings → Business Profile - but transaction documentation will continue to reflect the legal entity name at the time.
